Sunbowl 2005

Me and hubby at the Sunbowl, in El Paso, last Friday:

You may notice that hubby is the Northwestern alum, not me. Though I did wear lavender, as an honorary "Northwestern alum by marriage."

This shot was taken at the pre-game tailgate party, sponsored by the NW alumni. I only needed the jacket for part of the day; it was that warm in El Paso.

You can't tell from the pic (I don't think, anyway) but my back was hurting like hell. I had sprained it the day before, just bending over to get something out of my suitcase. Five-plus hours on a stadium bleacher didn't improve it any, but overall, I'm getting better day by day.
